Frozen Lake

Muenster's lake, the Aasee (yes, the one were the lovely black swan Petra likes to swim during the warmer seasons) had frozen and a joyful crowd populated the snow-covered surface. Nice atmosphere, good, clean air!

Hey Francessa, what happens to Petra during the winter? Now I'm kinda worried about the swans! But the lake is lovely in the ice.

Don't worry, Lydia! What I gather from local Muenster papers is that animal lovers built her some shelter in the area of the lake when she was in danger of freezing in. Additionally, the zoo's director is willing to take her to the zoo over the winter.
